Rumor has it that…The PRCA & WPRA Pro-Rodeo is coming to town!

At The Southwest Horsemen's Arena

from May 29th - June 2nd, 2007

in Historic Silver City, New Mexico

So... Mark your Calendars, and plan to participate in the ...

9th Annual Wild, Wild West Rodeo Parade

and Activities

On Saturday, June 2nd, 2007

We are honored and pleased to be able to ‘stage’ this event.

The main objective is to demonstrate and keep alive the many past contributions that came together and combined to form our Southwestern Heritage.

Entry forms can be printed from this website, and will be distributed in the coming months, but this early reminder can help in your scheduling and planning.

Business are encouraged to have individual entries, or pool together to sponsor a wagon, stage, riding or walking group.

Remember… This parade is primarily a non-motorized event, and horse drawn vehicles, riders and walkers are encouraged to wear western attire. In addition, Vintage cars will be displaying a timeline into the mid 20th century.

The Rodeo parade will begin go through Downtown.

Southwest Activities will be presented along the route,

at the conclusion of the Parade, from 10:30am until 4pm.
