Shooting Schedules

 

Ground Shoots: The Gila Rangers hold their regular match on the 2nd Saturday of every month,

at our Fowler City range in the Mimbres Valley. (5-6 Stages)

'WW', our Territorial Governor, is now holding his impromptu Match at our facility

on the Sunday following our regular Saturday Match... Same Time, Same Place!

Mounted Shoots: Currently Suspended

Are held on the 4th Sunday - March thru Oct, (Except May)

at the Southwest Horseman's Arena on Hwy. 180 in Silver City (4 Stages)

8:45 AM: Registration, Posse Assignment and Safety Briefing

9:15 - 9:30 AM: Let the Shooting begin!

Bring a Picnic Lunch to the Ground Match... We usually take a break around noon!

Mounted Shooting is from  9:30 AM - 2 PM on the 4th Sunday of the month,

Check our 'BULLETIN BOARD' often for scheduling details or adjustments.

 

Ground Shooter Fees:  Members range fee is $5.00 / Non-member is $10.00.

 First time at our range? New Ranger ground shoot visitors...  SHOOT FREE!

WW's match fee is  $5.00 for an individual, and $7.50 for Spousal Pair! 

Mounted Shooter Fees:  $25.00 for four mounted stages.

Be sure to check this site before all shoots for up-to-date information (i.e.: cancellations due to weather or other?). It has to be really bad before we cancel a shoot, but occasionally we must. Fowler City can accommodate Dry Camping for tents and RV's. (outhouses onsite)

Free RV Water can be obtained at Fowlers Lumber Building.

(Just mention you are here for the Gila Ranger shoot)

A $5 per day Camp fee is collected for the host ranch on some large multi-day shoots.

Otherwise... Dry Camping is FREE all other shoot times.
