loud noises!

What makes the balloons pop?

The guns are loaded with Black Powder blanks - only! These

|
How do the matches work?
|
|
o
Matches are comprised of 3 to 6 "runs". Each
prescribed course or "run" is different. The runs consist
of 10 balloons mounted on poles that you must shoot in a prescribed
order. The courses are set up with short angles and barrels to turn
along with full speed straight-a-ways and hard stops. All of this is
done against a timer. The lowest elapsed time wins. There are
certain infractions that can incur penalties and missed balloons add
5 seconds to your time. Only one rider competes at a time. Safety
for riders, horses and spectators is strictly supervised.
