PRESIDENTS MESSAGE
Howdy everyone, enjoyed shooting with all who came to our unknown New Years day shoot...Thank you. Also want to thank those that have renewed their membership, and remind others that dues are NOW due. Our club meeting is open to all members, please attend. It is Tuesday following the shoot, at 6 p.m. at Hodges Restaurant here in Elephant Butte.
Congratulations to More or Les for 1st place duelist, in the Yuma Territorial Prison Break and 2nd place senior duelist. Also to Anna Paulova for 4th place ladies modem at Brawley Wash, Tucson. In Las Cruces, Anna Paulova took first place ladies Modem and 2nd place ladies over all, Mor or Less. 1st place duelist, and a clean match , Restless took 2nd place overall, and first place men’s traditional, Shanny Sue first in ladies traditional, Pecos Clyde took first in overall , Doc Baker first place in classic cowboy, J.W. Brockey 3rd place men’s traditional, Gabby super senior 2nd place ,and Harry Luck 1st in Frontiersman. Congratulations too all shooters and a good time was had by all. Till next month... J.W. Brockey

MINUTES OF MEETING JANUARY 17.2006
Meeting was called to order at 6:05 with 6 members present. Secretary read the minutes of the last meeting. Hombre 45 made motion to accept the minutes as read and all was in favor. Treasurer Anna Paulova gave the treasurers report. Hombre 45 made motion to accept, Salty seconded and all in favor.
OLD BUSINESS: Four Square informed us they are still working on the targets. Also said that someone had contacted him about re-qualifying for the concealed handgun carry license and that there was a lot of rumors out there. The teacher from Silver City said you can qualify 2 months before your class for re-qualiflcation. Salty discussed briefly about giving away a NRA membership randomly at the shoots, maybe quarterly. J.W. will check with NRA to see if that is even possible. NEW BUSINESS: J.W. entertained a motion that the club needed a copier for our monthly newsletter. The copier would follow the secretary and belong to the club. There was a $300.00 amount also entertained. Anna Paulova made motion to let the Secretary get the copier with the $300.00 limit and Salty seconded it. All in favor.
Anna Paulova made motion to adjourn and Hombre 45 seconded it. All in favor. Adjourned at 6:40.
