Our Fall rummage sale will be held on September 19, on the parking lot of the Visitor’s Center on Hudson Street, and we need your help! Mostly we want all of you to clean out your closets, garages and storage sheds, and bring us all the wonderful, salable items you don’t use anymore.  We can use almost anything, from dishes and pots & pans, to tools, toys, trinkets, and furniture.  Bedding and clothing are alright, too, if they are clean and in good condition. This is to help OUR program, so dig deep!  We will be setting up on Sept. 19 about 6:30, so if you can deliver your things then, that would be great. If not and you need someone to pick them up, just call Marilyn, 534-0231 or Karen, 534-4066.

NMCL Grant Awarded

Literacy Link – Leamos has been awarded a generous grant for operating assistance for the 2009-2010 program year from the New Mexico Coalition for Literacy. We appreciate their support and share with you their compliments:

Your program is doing an outstanding job! We are delighted to work with you in meeting the literacy needs in your area.

Volunteerism is the voice of the people put into action. These actions shape and mold the present into a future of

which we can all be proud.
